CRITICAL SECURITY NOTICE (ZERO-KNOWLEDGE DISCLAIMER): Onyx Vault operates on a zero-knowledge local architecture. We do not transmit or store your master passcodes, biometrics, or recovery keys on our systems. If you lose your passcode, reset your device keychain, or lose your Apple ID credentials without an offline paper backup, we cannot recover or decrypt your vault. Your data security is entirely your responsibility.

By downloading, installing, or using the Onyx Vault mobile application ("Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.

1. License Grant

INNSOFT Labs grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Application on your Apple devices in accordance with these Terms. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or build derivative products from the Application source files.

2. Local Data Responsibility & Security

You acknowledge and agree that:

Zero Network Transmission: Stored recovery codes are encrypted locally and never transmitted to our servers.
Biometric Credentials: Apple Enclave biometrics are strictly local. We do not see or retain backup PINs.
Self-Custody: You are solely responsible for keeping a secure physical/paper copy of your recovery credentials. If you lose access, your encrypted vault database is permanently unrecoverable.

3. iCloud Synchronization Usage

iCloud synchronization of your database occurs automatically over Apple's network infrastructure via your personal Apple ID. You are responsible for maintaining the privacy and security of your Apple ID credentials. We accept no liability for any iCloud account breaches or data sync failures resulting from Apple's services.

4. Disclaimers of Warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INNSOFT LABS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL RUN UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT STORED DATA WILL NEVER SUFFER LOSS DUE TO DEVICE FAILURE OR SOFTWARE CORRUPTION.

5. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL INNSOFT LABS, ITS OFFICERS, OR ITS DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF CRYPTOCURRENCY OR ACCOUNT ACCESS, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR SECURITY COMPROMISES) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which INNSOFT Labs operates, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
